Slade Point State School has a history of producing very talented visual artists and culturally gifted. The children each year in third term are involved in teaching, practising and performing a variety of cultural dances from around the world forming an important part of our 'Culture day' celebrations.
Our students have a distinct flair for drawing, painting and sculpting pieces of artwork. Our teachers encourage the children to be creative.
We have a fully functional pottery kiln which is used to 'fire' the student pieces of claywork.
