Our tuckshop operates every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and is run by the school P&C Association. We provide a large variety of healthy choices on the menu.

A current price list will be sent home at the beginning of the school year to every family. Click here to view the current menu.

Our tuckshop is not required to offer or provide a refund for any uncollected tuckshop orders.

A full-time convenor operates and manages this facility. Volunteers are always required to help staff the tuckshop. If you can assist, please contact us.

Our menu has been designed to meet the requirement Smart Choices - Healthy Food and Drink Supply Strategy for Queensland Schools

Students may order using the bag system for either lunch or afternoon tea or both in the mornings (before school).

Food is not sold over the counter. Children ordering must order both lunch and/or afternoon tea, on separate bags. Please do not use staples, sticky tape or light-coloured pens. Brown paper bags are available from any supermarket or at school. Correct money for the order is much appreciated.

Each bag should be written on the front as follows:

Student’s name and class.
Teacher’s name.
Lunch or afternoon tea.
Item required and price eg.
Sandwich $1.80c
Water Ice block 50c
Amount enclosed $2.30

Before school commences the children take their bags to the tuckshop. Orders are put into boxes for prep, year one, year two, year three. All other orders are collected from the tuckshop during eating time. The children go back to the tuckshop and show their bags to receive their icy cups, ice block etc. Sometimes ice blocks for lower school may be added into the boxes.

Due to Workplace Health and Safety:

  1. Students and young children are not allowed in the tuckshop.
  2. Due to dietary restrictions and allergy risks,  students are not allowed to be given free food from the tuckshop or have any food bought for them by staff or P and C members.  All adjustments must be approved by the Principal.

It is a part of our health and safety requirements that any food prepared for same day consumption cannot be stored in an unsafe manner and consumed at a later date, therefor requiring a parent’s obligation to follow up on any uncollected tuckshop orders.

We may offer and provide a refund (credit /like for like swap) if the students absence and collection from school grounds have become BEFORE the preparation of the students’ order.

Another suitable alternative would be that the order is passed onto a family member attending the school and sharing the same residential address as communicated by the students’ parents/carers prior with the school’s staff and admin team.  This would have to be completed at the time of picking up the student and not after or the next day. School staff are only happy to assist but this request must be done at the time the child is picked up by the parent.

If parents ask the tuckshop to pass the prepared food onto a family member or a sibling, no refund will be provided.

Thank you for being respectful to our Tuckshop staff and P and C staff at all times.
