Our Parents and Citizens Association is made up of highly committed parents that volunteer countless hours to support the students of Slade Point State School.
Our P and C has a strong executive team that are approachable and considered meeting every first Monday of the month.
The Principal presents a comprehensive report to the P&C every month on business occurring in the school. Fundraising ideas, correspondence, reviewing school policies, strategic plans and annual plans along with any other agenda items are discussed and voted upon as per the constitution.
The P&C hold a major fundraiser every year in October with a Saturday morning Market Day. Anyone is able to sign up for a spot and sell their wares. Car boot sales on the oval are very popular.
Joining the P&C is free and open to all parents and community members.
